3 x 10= 30

Deep down we all would love to accomplish a good 45+ minutes of exercise every day, whether because we actually enjoy the physical activity or because we know we should  and would love to have it magically done to reap the results.  It is great and healthy to be as physically active as possible without going to extremes however  clocking  lots of hours isn't always necessary.
We are a BUSY society and the actual recommendation of  the daily requirement of physical activity per day is 30 minutes,( for health maintenance),  but to get at least those 30 minutes together on certain days can seem impossible.
Don't despair.  Try breaking it into 3 (10) minutes increments. 10 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes in the middle of the day and the last 10 in the evening.   You may find yourself more motivated, energetic and focused because you're giving it your ALL for just 10 minutes at a stretch.   Less feeling of, "Am I done yet?"
An example might be 10 minutes of yoga in the AM to wake up the brain and muscles, a 10 minute walk at lunch/climbing stairs at work, and then maybe  10 minutes of  weight bearing exercise in the evening.  Try whatever feels good for your body.
On the days that you have more time available in a stretch....Go for the longer workout.

  1. This is a perfect tip, because there is not a stretch of 30 free minutes any where in my day!

But I can DEFINITELY find ten minutes, three times.

Thanks, Renee! My lunch break will be more invigorating today because of this idea. :)
